Brandon Webster "Idea of as a Holy Image"

In this section of Van Der Leeuw's text he talks about the importance of images we view in the relation of God. In pictorial arts, the movement is still or fixed. Dance in comparison, is a flow of movements rather than an expression frozen in time. In accordance to expression we talk about the holy image. God, the holy image is only an expression of what man believes of his appearance. Man can not be too sure of what God's image really is. Man creates this image in connection thy own self and the image of God.
