Sarah Ward: Christianity Video
In class, we watched a video about the ideology of Christianity and the faces of Jesus Christ as seen in art throughout the centuries. These images have been documented as far back as 312. Throughout the film, many images of Jesus Christ are presented in different styles of art. The film focuses on the Sistine Chapel and Michaelangelo's depiction of the events of the Bible. The film also discusses Leonardo da Vinci's "Last Supper" painting, as a real-life depiction of events that occurred during the last supper. These painting were ordained by God himself and served to be a physical representation of the events that occurred in the Bible.
