Necessity of Consistency

Subject: Necessity of Consistency

Topic of my choice

Different situations and environments will provoke different messages, even when observing identical objects. I chose topic because it offers an abstract concept, that identical objects can convey different messages. I definitely agree with the idea that a persons emotions can be altered given the circumstance, but this shouldn’t be the case during rational consideration. There is a need for people to be able to think consistently in different surroundings in order to perceive an objects message the way it was meant to be interpreted. There is often a logical answer to a situation. This logic should not be altered simply due to a change in scenery. This relates to the courses idea that art is a way to communicate to a viewer. If a viewer is subject to their surroundings that means the communication between the art and the viewer can be altered.
