Jasmine Washington: Graham Schweig-Bhagavad Gita ~The Ultimate Person~

The perishable consists of all beings; the imperishable is described as those who are situated in the highest state. The perishable are humans because at one point in time we are all sinners, at birth. Until you grow and choose your path of sinning or holiness you are apart of the perishable (p198). Those who give their self to the Lord are part of the imperishable. This is what many people live their entire lives trying to obtain; to get to or be with their supreme being(s). Which ever Religion you choose there is something that you are worshiping to hopefully attain and become apart of. I think this is very true, many religions have this ultimate goal. I do believe those who follow the Lord and his word precisely are at a higher state and will go to heaven and not perish. But those who sin and die sinners will have no mercy taken upon them. You cannot take life for granted and if you want to be apart of the highest you have to live following the highest standards. Following the word of God and living a "saved" life is said to be the ticket to heaven.
